ANDREW MITCHELL

Andrew Mitchell founded KITA Communications in 2022 following 28 years working overseas in Russia, Japan and Switzerland.

His 25-year career in communications began as a journalist in Tokyo, where he was twice named Sportswriter of the Year while at the International Herald Tribune-Asahi Shimbun.

Andrew was a senior member of the communications team at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from 2009 to 2016, before becoming CEO of Mitchell Stafford Management (MSM), a leading PR and Communications agency he co-founded in 2017 in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne, Switzerland.

KITA DEFINED

KITA means “north” in Japanese and is a reference to all great new adventures. From climbing a mountain to launching a company – they all start with the same dream of moving ever onward and upward.
